Brett Kittredge is the Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Empower Mississippi. In this position, Kittredge oversees marketing and communications strategies for a portfolio of issue initiatives that includes education, expanding work opportunities, and justice. He served as Empower’s Director of Communications from 2015 through 2018. He is a recipient of the 2020 State Policy Network’s Communications Excellence Award. His experience includes serving as editor of the public policy solutions guide, The High Road to Freedom, contributions to Promoting Prosperity in Mississippi, a publication of the Institute of Market Studies at Mississippi State University, and innumerable state and national placements, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, National Review, Washington Examiner, and Reason, among others. Kittredge received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Mississippi and his Master’s Degree from Abilene Christian University. Brett lives in Brandon with his wife Morgan and their four boys. They are members of North Brandon Church of Christ.
