Delta The Band performs live at the Grill & Grocery in downtown Hattiesburg, MS on Thursday, February 9th, 2023 at 8PM.

Started in the late spring of 2021, Delta is a new Mississippi based jam band out of Jackson, MS. Inspired by the likes of The Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, The Allman Brothers, Phish and many more, Delta creates a unique individualized live music experience with a blend of original music, covers and improvisation. Delta has made their way all across their home state of Mississippi playing various venues, bars and festivals throughout their first year as a band in 2022.

While Delta may be a newer band as a whole, it’s members each individually hold excessive music experience of over 20 years, and really express this raw talent through their playing and feel.

Delta was started in the spring of 2021 by guitarist Wilson Dallas and drummer Austin Eubanks. Delta made their initial debut at local outdoor stages in Jackson, MS such as Fondren Guitars and The Midtown Depot, but quickly made waves in their local music community.

As Delta progressed, they eventually made two new game changing additions to the band. In the spring of 2022 Delta added keyboard phenom Mitchell Singletary who’s skilled playing and experience added an entirely new dynamic to the band’s sound.

In the summer of 2022 Delta secured the addition of bassist Will Weathersby who’s experience goes unmatched having shared the stage with countless well known touring artists such as Grammy award winner Cedric Burnside.

Delta released their first album in October of 2022 as a live mastered recording of their August 26, 2022 performance at Martin’s Downtown in Jackson, MS which is available on all streaming platforms. Delta is currently wrapping up their debut studio album.
