A great day in the park for family and friends!! Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 62 will host the 2nd Annual VetFest where you’ll experience live and DJ music, for those that like military equipment there will be military static (equipment) displays, you’ll have access to a variety of wonderful food vendors, have a chance to win some FREE giveaways, participate in a RAFFLE for a very special prize and of course, there will be plenty of room for family and friends to sit down and enjoy the festivities.

The purpose of VetFest 2023 is to CELEBRATE and HONOR our VETERANS during the “ARMED FORCES DAY” weekend in one place. It is a day where Veteran business can promote their products or services to the larger community, connect with other Veteran businesses, visit other vendors that directly or indirectly serve Veterans through programs, products or services. With the end goal of getting the word out about those products, programs and or services that will enhance the lives and livelihoods of all families, not just Veterans.

And lastly it is a day where the over 60% of the American poplution who have an immediate family member who has or is currently serving and others to come and enjoy a nice family day in the park to honor and celebrate your family and those who served and are currently serving.

Even if you cannot commit to participating please consider a donation of any amount to DAV Chapter 62. Here are just some of the things we do:

Provide daily claims assistance to Veterans and their families, provide food vouchers for Veteran families, provide transportation to and from appointments, supply materials and labor to build handicap accessible ramps for our aging Veteran population and a host other services.
