In honor of both Fire Safety Week (October 8 – 14) and National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week (October 22 – 28), the Hattiesburg Fire Department and the Community Development Division for the City of Hattiesburg are teaming up to host a Community Outreach Safety Festival on Saturday, October 21 at Dewitt Sullivan Park from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The event is free to the public and will feature opportunities to learn more about fire safety, hazards in the home and fun activities for the entire family.
