Resume & Cover Letter

Join us as our incredible facilitator & HR professional Tyler Harding leads a hands-on presentation on how to create an effective and empowering personal resume. The workshop will also cover generic cover letter skills and job application tips and tricks. Participants are also welcome to bring a job application they are working on for specific help.

Laptops will be available for use by participants during the workshop, and paper and flash drives will be on hand so participants can take their finished product home. A meal and light refreshments will also be available.

Mock Job Interviews & Coaching

Join us as Hattiesburg attorney & entrepreneur Anna Rush, Esq leads a workshop on basic job interview skills and common interview questions before coaching one on one mock interviews with each participant.

Notebooks and materials for note-taking will be provided. A meal and light refreshments will also be available.

Filing Taxes and Employment Forms Workshop

Join us and local CPA Sinclair Lundy in learning the basics of tax principles: how and when to file personal income taxes, the importance of filing your taxes, and the consequences of failing to file. Sinclair will also go over how to complete common employment tax forms W-9 and W-4 and answer questions from participants.

Notebooks and materials for notetaking will be provided, and laptops will be on hand for use during the workshop. A meal and light refreshments will also be available.

Personal Accounting & Budgeting Workshop

Join us for a helpful and informative budgeting & personal accounting workshop with (facilitator TBA). The facilitator will go over basic accounting principles applicable to personal finance, coach participants in creating a budget, provide tips on following personal budgets, and answer any questions participants may have.

Laptops will be available for use by participants during the workshop, and paper and flash drives will be on hand so participants can take their finished product home. A meal and light refreshments will also be available.

Personal Credit Workshop

Join us and (facilitator TBA) for a presentation on credit and how to repair personal credit over time. Participants will be welcome to ask specific questions about their own credit.

Notebooks and materials for note-taking will be provided. A meal and light refreshments will also be available.
