On Monday, June 3, University of Southern Mississippi nursing students Ariel Miller, Dajiah Green, Jaliyah Davis, Keaston Pearson, and Phoenix Luke were in the City Beautiful as part of a class assignment. They decided to drop in at City Hall to meet Mayor Johnny Magee. Mayor Magee was happy to greet them and discuss with them the revitalization efforts that have been taking place in downtown Laurel over the last several years.
