On Monday, August 22, 2022, Hattiesburg Police charged an individual with multiple counts of aggravated assault.
Lashaun Brownlow Jr., 33, of Hattiesburg, turned himself in to authorities, and was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, in connection to a shooting incident that occurred on August 20, 2022.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. along James Street, when Brownlow Jr., fired rounds at a vehicle of a known acquaintance and a family member. There were three individuals in the other vehicle, resulting in the three counts of aggravated assault. There were no injuries during the incident.
Brownlow Jr., has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.
