I chose South Central because we’re a family.
Tayler Bradberry, RN, has been a member of the South Central Regional Medical Center family for 4 years. Tayler, who is a Jasper County native, works in ComfortCare Hospice as a Registered Nurse Coordinator. As a Hospice nurse, Tayler’s main role is to provide compassion. “In this role, you have to have patience, be sympathetic, and be very compassionate,” says Tayler. “I love the elderly and find joy in the care we provide to each person.”
ComfortCare Hospice recently received a national award as a “Premier Performer” for ranking in the top 5% of the nation for caregiver satisfaction. “This award shows our commitment to quality, compassion and patient needs,” said Tayler.
Hospice care is a special kind of care that focuses on the quality of life for people and their caregivers who are experiencing life-limiting illnesses. Tayler states, “We have a multi-disciplinary service that offers specialized care for individuals who have a terminal diagnosis. It is our job to provide comfort to these patients. Our highly trained staff is a great team and always available to lend assistance to co-workers. I chose South Central because we are family.”
Tayler found her passion for healthcare at a young age. “My mama was a nurse. I watched her go through school and helped her study, and I decided I wanted to follow in her footsteps. She was an inspiration to me,” says Tayler.
