Woman Identified in the Chicken Demolition Mission

Briana Sidhu was arrested earlier this evening after she plowed her car through the storefront of Krispy Krunchy Chicken on Hardy Street in Midtown.

According to an eye witness statement to HPNM, Sidhu was an employee at the location, and had a dispute with a member of management. It’s unclear at this time what the nature of the dispute was, but according to the witness, Sidhu warned those in the business that she was going to drive her vehicle through the business and that they should take cover.

According to a member of management at the gas station, Sidhu’s vehicle became stuck on the frame of the window, and she was unable to continue her mission of demolition.

HPNM was live on the scene and obtained an eye witness account of the event.

On Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, Hattiesburg Police responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into Krispy Krunchy Chicken at 3100 Hardy Street around 7 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene, it was learned that the female driver, intentionally drove her vehicle into the business, which is where her and her husband are employed. There were no injuries during the incident.

The female, identified as Briana Sidhu, 24, of Hattiesburg, was taken into custody at the scene.

She has been charged with one count of felony malicious mischief and booked into the Forrest County Jail.
