The Petal community is eagerly anticipating a night of laughter and goodwill as they prepare to gather at the Petal Civic Center on Thursday, June 6th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the highly anticipated “Funny for Funds” event. This comedic extravaganza is set to rally support for Petal Excel By 5, a program dedicated to enriching the lives of children under the age of five through community-driven initiatives.
The “Funny for Funds” event at the Petal Civic Center promises an evening brimming with family-friendly comedy and delectable desserts. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., with the entertainment kicking off promptly at 7:00 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to socialize and indulge in the array of mouthwatering desserts available.
The highlight of the evening will be “A Tribute to Liberace,” featuring the talents of Ken Sebastion, alongside special guest humorist, Jenny Nolen. With their comedic prowess, they promise to keep the audience entertained throughout the night.
Tickets for the event are priced at $20 each and provide access to the tribute show, as well as a variety of delicious desserts and beverages. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a live dessert auction, where winning bidders can take home delightful treats to enjoy.
